Step 9: Then take your chain nose pliers and grab the wire above the bottom of the heart and bend.
Step 10: Measure from your last bend 1 1/2 inches (or however wide you want your pin to be) and mark with your marker. Grab the wire at this mark with your round nose pliers.
Step 11: Wrap the wire around your pliers one full turn till you form a "spring" .
Step 12: Then cut the wire to where it is 1/8 of an inch beyond the catch formed by the heart. Hold your pliers at a slant.
Step 13: File the cut tip to where it is smooth and sharp. Again, I use the file as shown.

Now tumble your piece (optional but recommended) and then polish.
